St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Look what Meg, the Leprechaun left us on Friday, March 16th. Candy..... and GOLD.

Here is Trevor with his bag of gold.

We each got a cup of Lucky Charms and then we graphed the marshmellows.
There sure were A LOT of shooting stars.

After we laid out all of our marshmellows, we had to color the boxes to see which shape we had the most of.

And the best part - eating everything when we were done.

Meg the Leprechaun

I am sure you have been hearing about Meg, our resident Leprechaun. She came to live in our room last week and set up her house. We sure have been having fun moving things around, writing her notes and drawing her pictures. She promises to leave us a wee bit of gold on Friday. Wear green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Here are a few photos of her house.

We know Meg loves rainbows so we made one over her house.

Hey!

How to confuse a teacher? Wear the same clothes!

Don't Dominic and Keiran look great in their Wild jerseys?

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

March 2nd was the birthday of Dr. Seuss. We read Dr. Seuss books, drew the Cat in the Hat and wore our hats all afternoon.

I Love to Read

February was I Love to Read month and our theme was freedom. Those kindergartners who met the reading goal were able to get their picture taken with Mr. Meyer dressed up as Uncle Sam.Because the school met the reading challenge, we were all rewarded with a Zumba day. What FUN we had moving to the music. Our class was in the gym with 3rd grade.

Here is the snack that we got after our Zumba time.

Busy, Busy February!

We had a lot going on in February. One of the things we did was celebrate the 100th day of school. We did lots of activities including making a 100 day hat. Here we are on our 100th day of school. We even had a 100 day snack. We cold choose how to make a 100.
